We currently have an opening for an Manufacturing Assistant to help manufacture product as we grow to meet our customer's needs.

The Manufacturing Assistant - IMD is responsible for the manufacture of IMD (Intestinal Metal Detox) which is a thiol functioning silica - a product utilized by customers as part of a detoxification protocol. 

Core Responsibilities Include:

Responsible for directly managing and executing the manufacturing of IMD which is both a manual and chemical process, utilizing multiple ingredients and steps.

  • Follow detailed step-by-step instructions of the IMD manufacturing process - recording each step accurately and consistently.
  • Monitor the process ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Prepare for next batch or assist in other lab functions during downtimes in the process.
  • Handle hazardous waste disposal following company and safety guidelines
  • Clean and maintain all work areas
  • Follow all safety and cGMP guidelines
  • Wear PPE (personal protection equipment) as required


Required education and experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of experience in food, pharmaceutical or dietary supplement manufacturing

Preferred education and experience:

  • Experience working in a laboratory setting
  • cGMP experience - following SOP's
  • Hazardous chemical/waste experience

The ideal candidate will have the following traits:

  • High level of initiative and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented with an understanding and appreciation for safety
  • Ability to handle the repetitive nature of a step-by-step process consistently and accurately
  • Exhibit an interest in chemistry and science
  • Comfortable handling flammable, hazardous and odiferous chemicals

Individuals must be able to walk, bend, stoop, repeatedly lift up to 50lbs and withstand a manufacturing and laboratory environment. Must be able to handle the odor of the chemicals and by-products of the manufacturing process.


Work Schedule: Monday-Friday within regular business hours. One evening per week required to complete manufacturing functions.

Salary: $16.50/hr - $19.00/hr depending on experience
